i really feel great. First of all, i have now enough water for my 2 little exotic trees. One is a chocolate tree and the other is a coffee tree. Both love rainwater instead of tubwater. i can not blame them because i do not even like the tubwater. it has a funny smell and taste. I think here in the US they just have way more chemicals in the water than i’m used from europe. OR it is just my area. I would like to figure this out. You guys may tell me how the water smells and taste in your area.
and the next point why i feel great is, that this rainy day made me making just some slimmer and smaller earrings. i did today just studs. no hangers or hoops or such. I figured that some of my customers do not like hangers at all but they would buy earrings if i would have more studs. I can make that work out.

I’m a mess. My working bench allways looks like an exploded box. Everything is crisscross on this table and people wonder all the time, that i even have space for creating something.
When ever i organize mt whole table, it only takes 1 single hour, and the bench is the seem exploded mess like before.
I gave up to figure how others are able to manage their working spacs.
You may wonder what i’m talking about, here is a pic and i let you see what i’m talking about…smile…
Huh, i have not blogged since some days. i can not believe they are running so fast. Sure i made some new pieces. And today was just a perfect round working day.
Basicly, i’m still in the process of working for our summer asheville, river arts district studio stroll, where hundrets and hundrets of people will come around. And yesterday i got an e mail from a pretty great store, they want to buy some of my pieces. i called them right away and made an apointment for today. i drove there and they bought a lot of my earrings. it will be a great business relationship.
it was raining like crazy the whole day, but it did not borther me at all. i where sitting and creating new pieces. the world is so slow when it rains and the smell is so great. clean and fresh.
i met with a friend and we had some fun, than i made some ricotta and ome other fresh cheese, and butter. Do i have time for that? not really, but i love all that homemade fresh stuff, and when i bake tomorow some fresh german bread, the worls will be even better.

So! I changed the head of this blog. Now i have not to upload he items i list on etsy anymore. Just more detail pics if i want to. When ever I show the newest items everybody can see them now just right at the top of this site to follow the link.
I made yeasterday some more earrings. I love to wrap spirals and now i just added them on copper discs. i love it. i wear right now one of the pars i made and t hey are so super light weight and nice and fit just every outfit.
Finaly the weather got better, sun is shing. Today i will take an small break and drive an bit with my scooter around. i love it when the wind sourounds my little nose. It makes me feel alive and i figure why i do not like to drive cars.
i’m still glad i sold my car in oklahoma city, right before i moved to asheville. Ha, i do not need a car here. It is just small enough to get around with scooter and my son bikes everywhere. I can not tell if there are prettier places in the US, but i really love asheville a lot.
Our 2 times a year studio stroll is right around the corner. 13 and 14 june will show up in our lovely river arts district thousands and thousands of people from all over. all studios will be open, there is plenty food and drinks around, music, art over art, artists, crazy people, men, woman, old and young people, children….. wow….
i need to have t he best selection of my pieces to make good sales and if everything will be right and i have not been lazy, tan it will work well. I plan on to make more inexpensive items to make it easier. And as a bonos, i also will list some of the items on etsy.

It has been an odd day for me.
I got up at 8am. What sounds like being a normal time. but for me it was not for long time. Most of the days i work until i can not see straight anymore. Thats about between 2.30 am and 5am. I know it is not too good to do so. bt i have nothing else to do and so i just work and work and work and forget the time.
Since i’m a (happy) single, i have all time i want to to just do wat and when i like. Since i startet almost 19 years ago with the final direction in my business, i just worked. People probabli can call me a workaholic and they would not be wrong at all.
my son is 18, my cats do not care much and so i had enough time to mess up my inner clock pretty well. but i made the decission to bring it back in shape, last weekend. What i basicly did was, i stayed up one night all over until 8 am in the morning. Slept 2 hours. Than i had to get up to go to the little farmers market where i sell.
Was up until 8pm in the evening, slept until 1.30am in the earliest morning, stayed up until next night 10pm and slept this morning until 8am.
So, here it is exactly this day. I was sooooooooo productive and made many many earrings, 1 ring and 1 pendant today. All is in the tumbler right now. i will let it in until tomorrow morning. I’m tired now. It is 11.25pm and time for me to close my eyes and rest and jump in the lovely well-dream-land.
Tomorow i will have the newest pieces online and do more pieces. And hopefully i will not mess up my sleeping time too qick again.

What can I do if the space on my kiln is occupated?
I could just start the kiln and hope, that the hot kiln would just keep the cat away. But it is her favorite place and she starts to cry if she can not go on top.

I hate Pennies. Ok, I hated Pennnies, i start like them. In germany i used german pennies to level my pieces i have to solder. they just worked fine. American pennies are with an other soft melting metal in the middle so they did not worked at all.
Last week i had 2 pennies on my working desk. One was than molten and the other not. So i heated that non molten penny up and heated and heated…nothing…did not melt… strange… went online and figgured that there are pennies out there whi are full copper…wow…
now, before i hate the pennie, i look if that may be is one out of real solid copper. if so, i will turn him in to jewelry, if not, it ends in that I hate pennies bucket…

There are days where i do not feel like to make anything. Today is NOT such a day, but i had it in the past some times and it will be in the future some times.
For me one of the biggest issues allways has been to make all this online stuff working out. Like listing new items on etsy or updating my website. It just eats so much time and than in the middle of listing i sometimes stopped and went back to creat new items.
Updating page over page over page to list one single item never made much sense for me and even i like etsy a lot, i hate their listing way. There are so many systems out like etsy and all have an way better listing system. 1 page only.
Special because i have often the seem kind of items (even they look different) to list, it just made me headdache to go ahead and fill everything out over and over again.
I found the best thing ever now to shorten all that stuff and that is… tatatataaa… ETSYHACKS It si made from somebodys husband to help her to work more efficient. I really love such husbands, they are helpful and great.
To make this working, i had to install firefox. and since i’m german, i normally use only IE BECAUSE it has for me this great little bonos that i just move with my mouse over an english word and it translate it in german for me. it makes me an tiny bit smarter and helps me understand what to heck i’m reading.
unfortunately it does not write for me and so have to deal with all my miswritigs alone. but well, i can not have everything.
ok, just for etsy using I now use the firefox and tht is great because it taked me just a few minutes to got it installed and used it. I’m in happy etsy world now. the tags are most time the seem and i have to change here and there just some words to list my items propper. i can upload all picture in ones and not picture by picture, likebefore.
Try it and see if you find this helpfull. I did and i use it all the time.
I save lots of time, listing became a pleasure and i do not break up my listings a nymore just because t frustrates me.
Today i want to make new jewelry pieces. I tumbled yesterday the parts for earrings and i think i’m going to make a nice ring for males.
And at the end i know, i can just copy one lsiting and have the most listing done in seconds and the rest goes quick also.
